The primary function of this job is to assist students with payment of tuition and fees, check attendance for financial aid, and perform accounting functions as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer phones
2. Check attendance for financial aid students
3. Perform all duties required of a cashier and serve as backup cashier
4. Process returned checks as needed
5. Assist with reconciliation of bank statements as needed
6. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Business Services

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or equivalent. Associate Degree preferred. Previous experience in higher education and accounting is preferred.
Personal computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, to practical situations including budget preparations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
