CR. Architectural Styling, Naming of Buildings and Plaques (BP)

The architectural style of college buildings shall be the style of architecture now in use in the majority of the campus buildings. 

All classroom buildings shall be named on the basis of the major use of the building. Each residence hall shall be named for a person. All building and residence hall names shall be approved by the Board: after approval, suitable signs bearing the name shall be placed on the building or residence hall.

A plaque shall be placed on each new building. The plaque shall show the name of the building and the names of those occupying the following positions on the date of the contract award; the Chairman of the Board of Regents, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Board Members, the College President, the architect and the contractor. The year the construction contract is awarded shall be included on the plaque.
