Plainview Center Scholarships

The Greater Texas Foundation has granted South Plains College $25,000 to fund scholarships for students attending the SPC Plainview Center. To be eligible, students must have successfully compelted at least one semester at SPC and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship award is valid for two consecutive semesters and scholarship recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA for the duration of the award. The scholarship will be awarded for the 2009 Fall and 2010 Spring Semesters only.

Qualified students must be enrolled in at least 9 hours to be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship ($500 each semester) and 6 hours for the $500 scholarsip ($250 each semester). Scholarships will be awarded based on academic potential, GPA, financial need and/or ability to benefit from a college education.

The Greater Texas Foundation is providing $1,000 scholarships for 15 full-time students and $500 scholarships for 20 part-time students.

Return our completed application to the Counseling Office, SPC Plainview Center, 1920 W. 24th St., Plainview, Texas. Applications will be received until all scholarships have been awarded.
