Plainsman Press
The Plainsman Press is the official student newspaper of South Plains College, a public, two-year community college created in 1958 by the citizens of Hockley County. The college employees approximately 700 faculty, staff, and administrators.
The college offers educational programs in the arts and sciences, technical education, continuing education , and workforce development. There are currently more than 9,500 students enrolled at SPC. The average student is 24 years old, and approximately 33 percent are classified as minorities.
Currently 1,700 copies of the broadsheet newspaper are distributed bi-weekly at the Levelland and Reese campuses.

The Plainsman Press reserves the right to reject advertising copy that does not comply with its policies. We will supply a copy of our complete advertising policy upon request.
